BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OAKWOOD, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, OHIO, THAT:

This Council hereby ratifies, confirms, and establishes an amendment dated the 4^th day of December, 2023 to the Organization & Staffing Schedule, copies of which are being made a part of this ordinance as Exhibit A through the doctrine of incorporation by reference. This amendment shall supersede and replace any prior Organization & Staffing Schedule adopted by this Council. The purpose of this amendment is to create the classifications of City Engineer, Human Resources Manager, and Planning and Zoning Manager; to eliminate the Staff Engineer and Director of Properties and Personnel classifications; and to make miscellaneous clarifications to titles for other classifications.

This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and as such shall take effect immediately on the basis that it is necessary to maintain morale and to promote efficiency, and on the basis of preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and welfare.
