Public Works Update
Public Works Director Mike Casper updated the public on existing projects and upcoming work. The North Crescent project is almost complete. They will start paving it on Wednesday. They are hauling in material to the new building site. It will require about 60,000 tons, and they can haul about 7,000 tons daily. Most of his crew is working on this project. The asphalt training went well, and there is a Building Utah Conference coming up that some of his department will attend. The parties discussed the right-of-way for CR29, other paving projects, and tree trimming.

Discussion & Consideration of Grant of Easement & Right-of-Way to Moon Lake Electric
The Commissioners discussed the Right-of-Way for Moon Lake Electric. The parcel was deeded back to the County from SSD#2. Moon Lake needs the extra right-of-way to move a power pole. Commissioner Killian made a motion to grant the Easement and Right-of-Way to Moon Lake Electric and authorize the chair to sign on behalf of the County. Commissioner Chugg seconded the motion. Commissioner Killian voted aye, Commissioner Chugg voted aye, and Commissioner Miles voted aye. The motion passed.

Economic Development Director Deborah Herron presented an application from G.T. Enterprises of Duchesene and pictures. They purchased a press brake to bend large sheets of metal. The parties discussed the business and new improvements. Commissioner Chugg made a motion to approve the matching grant application for G.T. Enterprises of Duchesne for $6,000. Commissioner Killian seconded the motion. Commissioner Chugg voted aye, Commissioner Killian voted aye, and Commissioner Miles voted aye. The motion passed.
