Programmed Work Zones
909.01 PURPOSE AND INTENT
The purpose of this Chapter is to establish and define work zones for public improvement projects within the city of Oakwood.
The division of the City into work zones, and the description of each such zone, is expressly intended to satisfy and comply with requirements of Chapters 728 and 729 of the Ohio Revised Code, and may be used for any and all purposes under such Chapters, specifically including but not limited to, setting forth a description of the lots and lands abutting upon certain sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and appurtenances thereto, to be constructed or repaired within the City.
These work zones may also be used, without limitation, to describe the area for performance of any other public improvement or project for which costs may be assessed under Chapters 728 or 729 of the Ohio Revised Code, and for any other public improvement or project for which the City Manager deems it advisable to identify the work area by reference to specific zones within the City.
909.02 WORK ZONES
- A. The City of Oakwood is hereby divided into work zones, each of which is defined to include the respective streets and termini set forth in both text and map format on Appendix B of the Streets and Public Services Code.
- B. In legislation and otherwise, reference may be made to zones set forth on Appendix B to identify areas of work for all purposes under Chapters 728 and 729 of the Ohio Revised Code, and for such other purposes not contrary to law as the City Manager may deem advisable.
- C. Appendix B may be amended by ordinance of Council from time to time.
