Interim Chairman Killian welcomed everyone to the meeting.

Commissioner Chugg said the prayer.

Public Works Update
(9:03 a.m.)

Jeff Baker with Jones & DeMille Engineering gave an update on the County's upcoming projects. He explained the engineering services for this year—the crack sealing, striping, and paving. The crack sealing and striping were awarded last week, and the paving will go out to bid later this year. The parties discussed cost estimates for the Engineer of Record services.

Public Works Director Mike Casper provided an update of ongoing and upcoming work. They are still graveling some roads in the Tabiona Valley. They will start zipping in Myton by the rodeo grounds tomorrow. They are preparing for some paving projects. The new building is being erected. Commissioner Killian asked when they will start the realignment of Pole Line Road in Roosevelt City. Jeff Baker explained the process of attending Roosevelt's town meeting before it can be advertised for bid. The parties discussed acquiring the needed property for the project and the possible challenges.

Discussion & Consideration of the Main Street Matching Grant Application
(9:14 a.m.)

Economic Development Assistant Deborah Herron presented an application from Michele Culpepper for Outlaw BBQ & Grill LLC. She explained the completed project for a requested amount of $1,561.12. The parties discussed the application. Commissioner Chugg made a motion to approve the Main Street Matching Grant application for Outlaw BBQ & Grill LLC for $1,561.12. Commissioner Killian seconded the motion. Commissioner Chugg voted aye, and Commissioner Killian voted aye. The motion passed.

Emergency Management Update
(9:18 a.m.)

Emergency Management Director Josh Phillips gave a weather update for the next ten days. He explained that the fire warden will call dispatch each morning to determine whether to allow burning. The parties discussed recent fire episodes in the County. Director Phillips reminded the public to be smart about their controlled burns.
