    • Joe Fulford and Tim Benford – EV Chargers and Electric Vehicle Trends: Mayor Duncan confirmed that Joe Fulford and Tim Benford will address Council this evening.
    • Steve Kelch – History of Smith Gardens: Mr. Klopsch noted that Steve Kelch will provide a history of Smith Gardens, as a component of the 45th anniversary celebration. This presentation will be given in lieu of a staff report from the Leisure Services Department.
  • LEGISLATION: Council discussed the following three items of legislation on the regular session agenda this evening:
    • An Ordinance to impose an additional $5 per year vehicle license fee (permissive tax), Vice Mayor Byington
    • An Ordinance to enact a one year moratorium on the use of shared mobility devices, Mr. Stephens
    • An Ordinance to amend 2019 appropriations to provide $25,000 for improvements to the Cardboard Drop-off Station, Vice Mayor Byington

      • May Credit Card Transaction Detail Report: Council reviewed the May report. Thereafter, Mayor Duncan and Mr. Klopsch signed the cover form attesting to this action.
    • Planning & Zoning, Vice Mayor Byington
      • Patterson Park Access: This will be discussed at the June 17 work session.
    • Public Properties, Mr. Epley
      • Short-term Rentals: This will be discussed at the June 17 work session.
    • Public Utilities/Waterworks/Sewer, Mr. Epley
      • PFAS Water Testing: Mr. Klopsch noted that Water Plant Superintendent Gary Dursch is in discussions with representatives from the Ohio EPA, Montgomery County, and the city of Dayton in regard to protocols for possible PFAS water testing.
      • Montgomery County Wastewater Treatment Agreement: Mr. Klopsch reported that staff has completed work with staff from Montgomery County in developing a new wastewater treatment agreement. He will sign that agreement when it is ready for signature. Given the new rate model used by Montgomery County, Oakwood will see a decrease in annual wastewater treatment costs.
      • Ridgewood and Schenck Stormwater Drainage: This will be discussed at the June 17 work session.
  • MICSELLANEOUS
    • Website Presentation: Mr. Klopsch noted that Clerk of Council Lori Stacel and Personnel and Properties Director Jennifer Wilder will make a presentation on the new city website at the June 17 work session.
    • Vacation: Mr. Klopsch noted that he will be on vacation during the week of June 10.
