Shroyer Road Project: Mr. Klopsch confirmed that a letter will be mailed this week to approximately 670 Oakwood property owners/tenants along the Shroyer Road corridor providing information about the upcoming roadway improvement project. Two Open House events are scheduled in late April to provide property owners an opportunity to learn more about the roadway safety project.

Ridgeway and Shafor Street Lights: Mr. Klopsch mentioned that staff is working with Miami Valley Lighting to develop a project to replace old and outdated street light poles along Ridgeway Road and Shafor Boulevard. This will likely be presented as a two-phase project, with one phase in 2017 and one phase in 2018. There is no upfront cost to this light pole upgrade, but the monthly service charges for the new spun aluminum poles will be higher than for the old steel poles.
