Duchesne County Fair Chair Chey Long and Duchesne County Fair Vice-Chair described the upcoming fair activities. Tonight there will be Bingo, motor sports, the chicken-and-rabbit show, and volleyball. On Tuesday, the livestock will weigh in, and it will be family fun night. Wednesday is the livestock show, a free concert with Richie and the High Street Rockers opening with Susie Brown as the main artist. Thursday will be the demolition derby. Friday morning is the livestock sale, and the rodeo in the evening. Saturday, there are horse pulls, the rodeo, and another concert in the indoor arena in the evening. This year, there is a new event on Monday and Tuesday nights: goat roping. It should be very exciting.

Discussion & Consideration of the Support Letter for the Self-Help and Acquisition Rehabilitation Programs

Commissioner Miles explained the program and how the Uintah Basin Association of Governments (UBAOG) administers it. Commissioner Chugg made a motion to sign the letter of support for the Self-Help and Acquisition Rehabilitation Programs. Commissioner Killian seconded the motion. Commissioner Chugg voted aye, Commissioner Killian voted aye, and Commissioner Miles voted aye. The motion passed.
