Oakwood United Soccer Contract: Mr. Klopsch noted that Law Director Rob Jacques and Leisure Services Director Carol Collins will meet next week with representatives from Oakwood United Soccer Club to discuss extension of the Old River/Lane Stadium Use Agreement.

Streets & Alleys, Mr. Stephens

Stop Signs: Mr. Klopsch reported that he was informed by Councilmember Stephens that a recent Facebook post mentioned that the City should paint stop bars on the pavement in front of all stop signs. Mr. Klopsch and Public Safety Director Alan Hill concluded that this action would not be prudent. The suggestion was made in response to a young child being struck by a vehicle a few weeks ago. Fortunately, that child was not injured and the Oakwood Safety Department was not dispatched.

MISCELLANEOUS

City of Dayton USD: Mr. Klopsch mentioned that he recently received correspondence from the Ohio EPA regarding an application by the city of Dayton to establish an Urban Setting Designation (USD) over an area of 5,036 acres encompassing downtown Dayton. Oakwood received a questionnaire about potential impact on the public water system given the proximity of the Springhouse Well Field. This USD area is north of the previously approved USD for the University of Dayton and farther from the Oakwood water wells. Mr. Klopsch will complete the questionnaire raising no objection to the application.

Block Parties: Mr. Klopsch noted that the City has a petition and application for annual block parties. That form was recently revised to include requirements for social distancing.
