CVSO Accreditation Standards – Cambria Sparks
Cambria Sparks, Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs, presented updated accreditation requirements for County Veteran Service Officers, including staffing, reporting, training, and compliance standards. She confirmed that Delaware County is currently in full compliance and emphasized the importance of maintaining privacy protections within the office.
Commissioners discussed ensuring restricted access to veteran service areas to protect confidential information and prevent unauthorized entry. No action was required.
Contracts or Agreements for Approval
Warranty Deed – Bridge No. 179
Commissioners reviewed the proposed land acquisition necessary for bridge improvements and confirmed the agreed purchase amount.
Vialytics Contract – Highway Department
Discussion was held regarding transitioning to in-house road condition analysis using software to improve efficiency and reduce long-term costs. Commissioners agreed the system would provide greater flexibility for ongoing infrastructure planning.
Payment Processing Agreement – Treasurer (Brad Polk)
The Treasurer presented renewal of the credit card processing agreement, noting minimal fee increases and no direct cost to the county aside from equipment upgrades. Commissioners discussed operational benefits, including improved transaction processing.
