Commissioners and Fred Cummins Director of 911, reviewed revisions made to the contract, including payment terms and removal of certain clauses to better protect county interests. Legal counsel confirmed the agreement was acceptable as revised.

RDSA Settlement – Opioid Litigation

Commissioners and Attorney John Brooke reviewed the national opioid settlement and discussed the county’s participation and anticipated allocation of funds. The agreement was recommended by legal counsel and state advisory groups.

Drone Base Lease Agreement

Following earlier discussion regarding the interlocal agreement, Commissioners reviewed a revised lease structure with the City of Muncie. The lease was determined to provide clearer terms and operational flexibility.

Ordinance No. 2026-05 – Employee Handbook
