Insurance Requirements

Prior to beginning work, the contractor shall provide certificates of insurance showing at minimum:

  • Commercial General Liability: $1,000,000 per occurrence
  • Automobile Liability: $1,000,000
  • Workers' Compensation as required by Indiana Law

Documentation/Invoicing

The contractor shall provide photographs of the work being done. Photographs must be taken before work is begun and after work is completed. Payments for service shall be made in accordance with Indiana law and are subject to county inspection of work performed. Invoicing must include:

  • Date of service
  • Time work began & time work completed
  • Invoice referencing the County work order number
  • Property address
  • Services performed
  • Total amount due

Response Requirements

Contractor shall be capable of responding within:

  • Standard Response: Three (3) business days
  • Emergency Response: Twenty-four (24) hours when requested by the County

Overview of Procurement Process

The County reserves the right to solicit responses to a request for proposals, conduct discussions with Offerors for the purpose of clarification to assure full understanding of and responsiveness to the solicitation requirements, to receive best and final offers with responsible Offerors who submit proposals that are determined to be reasonably acceptable for being selected for these services.

1.Review RFP Responses.

The County will review responses to this RFP to determine Offerors' experience, expertise, proposed approach and ability to satisfy the terms as required by the County for these maintenance needs. If an Offeror is not Responsive or Responsible, the County may, in its sole discretion, disqualify that Offeror from further consideration.
