Mr. Risley asked for an update about the fiber optic projects in Oakwood.

Mr. Klopsch shared that there are two different fiber projects in Oakwood. The Miami Valley Communications Council, in cooperation with the Miami Valley Educational Computer Association is working to build a large municipal fiber ring for intergovernmental communication. Also, other individual for-profit companies are adding fiber in area communities, including Oakwood.

Mrs. O'Leary thanked Green Oakwood for participating in the Styrofoam recycling event. She shared that that since the inception of program, about 10,000 pounds of Styrofoam has been repurposed.
