Chairman Miles welcomed everyone to the meeting.

Public Works Update
Public Works Director Mike Casper gave an update on existing projects and upcoming work. The Antelope Bridge repairs are going well. The fence around the Altamont crusher yard is almost complete; it should be completed by the end of the week. The County Road 29 project is complete until the Right-Of-Ways are obtained. Some of the crew will be trimming trees while the weather is mild.
Discussion & Consideration of Approach Permits
Public Works Deputy Director Clint Curtis presented a residential approach permit for Parcel # 00-0035-2481. The parties discussed the permit request. Commissioner Chugg made a motion to approve the permit as written. Commissioner Killian seconded the motion. Commissioner Chugg voted aye, Commissioner Killian voted aye, and Commissioner Miles voted aye. The motion passed.
Presentation of Employee of the Month
Human Resource Director Judy Stevenson presented the Employee of the Month Award to Building & Grounds Custodian Gala Chamorro. Building & Grounds Assistant Emily Blanchard read the nomination letter she submitted. Building & Grounds Director Shane Jenkins appreciated her honesty, dependability, and hard work ethic. Each Commissioner commended her dedication and positive attitude. Ms. Chamorro thanked them for the opportunity to work for Duchesne County.
Discussion & Consideration of Request from Tabby Valley Parks & Recreation Board
Tracina Wilson and Justin Lazenby with the Tabby Valley Parks & Recreation SSD explained they would like to host a demolition derby in Tabiona. They would need materials and equipment for the event. The parties discussed the event, the materials and equipment needed, and the potential lack of participants. The Tabby Valley Parks & Recreation Board will gather information about the materials and equipment needed and the possible contestants and report to the Commissioners.
