A copy of the ordinances, having been placed on the desks of each member of Council prior to introduction, was read by title.

Mr. Stephens explained that he is introducing two ordinances together. They have the same title and are identical, except that they relate to the same project in two different project years – 2022 and 2023.

These ordinances are the fourth and final legislative step of the 2022 and 2023 Sidewalk, Curb, and Driveway Apron projects. Each ordinance itemizes sidewalk repair costs that were not already paid directly by affected homeowners and authorizes these costs to be assessed by the Montgomery County Auditor.

The ordinance for the 2022 project includes total assessments of $20,280.63.

The ordinance for the 2023 project includes total assessments of $13,493.91.
