• MISCELLANEOUS
    • Far Hills Business District: Mr. Klopsch mentioned that the Kettering Health Network (KHN) has not yet communicated with the city in terms of plans for the 2600 Far Hills Building. Any proposed development of this building will probably involve the construction of additional parking areas. This will likely take place on some property now owned by KHN and possibly on property owned by the city which currently houses a 4-unit apartment building.
    • November 1-3 OML Conference: Mr. Klopsch noted that he will not attend the OML Conference this year.
    • Administrative Policies and Procedures: Mr. Klopsch mentioned that staff recently updated a policy on right-of-way administration. This will be forwarded to Council in the next Friday newsletter packet.
    • ICMA: Mr. Klopsch mentioned that he will attend the annual ICMA Conference from Sunday, October 22 through Wednesday, October 25.
    • School Facilities Oversight Committee: Mr. Klopsch discussed an offer from the Oakwood Schools for a member of staff to serve on a school Facility Oversight Committee. After some discussion, it was concluded that the city should not participate in this project.
    • January Council Meeting: Mr. Klopsch confirmed that the January Council meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 2 consistent with Charter requirements. This is the bi-annual organizational meeting.

At 6:50 p.m., Mayor Duncan adjourned the work session and moved to executive session for personnel matters.

At 6:59 p.m., Mayor Duncan concluded the executive session and the meeting was adjourned.
