TO AMEND THE CITY’S PERSONNEL SCHEDULE, ORDINANCE NUMBER 5026,

TO CORRECT THE MAXIMUM PAY RATES FOR TWO JOB CLASSIFICATIONS,

AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OAKWOOD, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, OHIO, THAT:

SECTION I.
Ordinance No. 5026, adopted December 1, 2025, is hereby amended to correct typographical errors in the maximum pay rates set forth for two (2) job classifications as stated below, with new text appearing in bold font and deleted text appearing in strike-through font:

HR Administrative Assistant $ 37.33 37.73/hour
Accounting Specialist II $ 37.33 37.73/hour

SECTION II.
Because this ordinance is intended to correct a typographical error in the original Ordinance No. 5026, these maximum rates shall be deemed to take effect nunc pro tunc to the pay period beginning December 15, 2025.

SECTION III.
Except as expressly amended herein, the Personnel Schedule adopted on December 1, 2025, as Ordinance No. 5026 shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION IV.
It is hereby declared that this ordinance is an emergency measure to take effect immediately on the basis that it is necessary to implement these corrections in maximum compensation as quickly as possible in order to maintain morale and promote efficiency and on the basis of the public peace, health, safety, and welfare.
