are a lot of us who not only support you but truly appreciate what you are doing for Sun N Lake.
Rhonda Berish addressed the Board and stated that, in her opinion, employees who receive unfavorable evaluations should seek to understand the concerns raised rather than publicly dispute them. She questioned whether communication between the General Manager and the two supervisors who submitted low evaluations had broken down and expressed concern regarding the completion of District projects, project costs, and transparency in District operations. Ms. Berish also commented on the General Manager’s remarks during the meeting, stating that she believed they were unprofessional, and questioned the Board’s continued support of the General Manager despite the concerns raised by two supervisors.
Scott Wyatt, 1612 Sunrise Drive, read for the record a letter from Paul Sippl, 5736 Angelo Circle, who was unable to attend. I feel the need to weigh in on the recent BOD review of our GM, Raymond Bossert. I cannot, nor will I commend Boz on his performance. I admit I do not take the time to attend or review board minutes as often as I should. Nor do I take the time to interact with Mr. Bossert directly. Furthermore, I am very disappointed with the condition of the golf course greens. While I feel the fairways and esthetics have improved in the 8 years, I have been a member, only a couple of years were the greens satisfactory. The first year being the best. All I hear are new excuses about why our course is in the condition it is in, while our neighboring golf courses conditions are easily exceeding ours. This is an area I would have expected our GM to get fixed or replace the people making the excuses. While I am currently in my northern home, I get updates from unhappy fellow golf members that will likely keep me from rejoining as a member next year.
Janice Smith, 4810 Myrtle Beach Drive, read for the record a letter from John R. Hunter, 4642 Pebble Beach Drive, who was unable to attend. I am writing to express my wholehearted support for our General Manager, Boz Bossert, and to recognize the exceptional leadership that has been demonstrated during their tenure. Under Boz Bossert guidance, our district has reached a level of excellence that many have never witnessed before. Operations have improved, financial stewardship has been responsible and transparent, and there is renewed sense of professionalism, accountability, and pride throughout the organization. The positive changes have been evident not only in the day-to-day operation but also in the long-term vision and direction of the district. Great leadership is measured not only by results but by the ability to bring people together, solve problems, and earn the trust of employees and the community. Boz Bossert has consistently demonstrated these qualities. Decisions have been made with integrity, communication has been open and honest, and the focus has always remained on doing what is best for the district and those it serves. In my opinion, our district has never been stronger. The progress achieved under Boz Bossert leadership is something we should build upon rather than risk losing. Strong, effective leadership is not easily replaced, and I believe the district’s continued success depends on maintaining the stability and momentum that currently exists. I respectfully ask the board of supervisors to recognize the outstanding work that has been accomplished and to continue supporting Boz Bossert in leading our district into the future.
