Commissioner Hansen explained that Strata Networks is applying for a grant. This letter was signed and sent last week with the application. Treasurer’s Office – Tax Adjustments

Treasurer Stephen Potter presented a letter from a County taxpayer explaining how their payment was stolen from their mailbox and altered. They are requesting that the late penalties be waived. Treasurer’s Office – Tax Abatements

Deputy Treasurer Connie Sweat presented the 2024 Individual Abatement Report before the meeting. Residential Buildings – 2 for $1,479.25, Residential Land – 1 for $171.67. The breakdown is as follows: Circuit Breaker – 2 for $1,650.92, 20% Circuit Breaker – 1 for $497.64, Total – 3 for $2,148.56. The parties discussed the report. Commissioner Miles made a motion to approve the abatement report as presented. Commissioner Killian seconded the motion. Commissioner Miles voted aye, Commissioner Killian voted aye, and Commissioner Hansen voted aye. The motion passed.
