Brand stated I recommend we leave this on the agenda under old business at least one more month to monitor.

Ken Dive

Mr. Humbert stated I want to get a couple quotes with a couple different routes we can go. We can either go the straight route through the woods or I can get permission to go off to the east and go through a yard. We got a catch basin that's going to go in. I'm going to get with Butler and Abe Wright to pick their brains. So, I think we can get by with putting a catch basin across Ken Drive. I want to put an inlet on both sides on the north and the south side. It's pretty much a direct line if we go through the woods. Mr. Borchers stated I think going through the woods would be the easiest way. All the contractors I use, do it all the time. I think just put solid pipe through the woods and perf through the yard area. They all have the equipment to do it. Once we get out there and receive a couple quotes, probably at the next meeting we'll open those up. Commissioner Brand stated we can’t pave that area until we fix this drainage issue. I would like to see some significant progress by the next meeting.

Cowan Alley

Mr. Thomas, Delaware County Engineer, stated they're still waiting on favorable weather. Rain is the issue right now. Commissioner Brand, it's no longer a safety hazard, right? The holes in alley are covered up. Mr. Thomas stated those are covered up, we're good.

Courtney, stated they left for the winter. They said they plan on coming back for the grading work after spring rains anticipating finishing the grading by April or May. I would highly doubt just based on their previous work that happens. The update on the containers I had was they were hoping to have them all gone by February and that is where it stood. Commissioner Brand stated I connected him with a couple local potential contractors to move those storage containers. And then he sent me an email back and said, "Hey, will the county pay for this?" And I said, "Absolutely not. Get them moved." I want to make sure that he doesn't tell you that we said we would pay for it. Courtney, I’ll keep on them.

Log Jams on White River

Mr. Borchers stated I met two contractors to get a quote to remove it. One contractor didn’t want anything to do with it. The other gave me a quote but I think he misunderstood. I want him to pull the trees out so we could get everything flowing again. I think we still need to file for a permit with the DNR just to cover our basis. The quote the contractor gave me was just to move the logs out of the water and put on the bank. We need to move those out of the flood way so the quote is void. I’ll file for a DNR permit to remove logs and try and get another two or three quotes. Mr. Thomas stated I believe Flatland Resources started the process for a permit its also for the restoration of the canoe launch. The log jam is a part of that work. I don’t want you to double dip unless we do it sooner. Mr. Borchers send me a contact number so I can double check there isn’t any sense in both us filing. Commissioner Brand stated I think we should put a scope of work together to make it clear.

Mr. Thomas stated we got a quote from Coops for $4,474.41, that's just to clean up everything
