that's there, regrade it and put heavy rip rap and seed. Basically, to restore everything to fix it. Commissioner Brand asked did we ask for more than one quote? Mr. Thomas stated that was the only one I started with just to see price-wise where we were going to be at. I can ask for more quotes. I don't know if that's something we want to go ahead and approve that work. We'd also talked about at one point the county doing some stuff with it, but based on that quote, I don't know that we can beat that by much. Commissioner Brand, I recommend putting an RFP together there as well, get a few more inputs, and then it's clearly going to be under $10,000. I believe you guys can make the decision. Commissioner Riggin, are we going to offer the homeowner the chance to do it? Mr. Thomas stated that was my question too because at one point the discussion was that he would be paying for this but I don't know how that part of it works or what the decision was. Commissioner Brand stated what I recall was we were going to get the quotes and once we knew what the price was, we were going to contact the landowner and say, "Hey, you did this. This is the price to restore it. Do you want to restore it to these specs or would you like for us to restore it to this quote and you reimburse us?" So, we need the quotes first. Mr. Thomas stated I'll get the quotes and put the RFP together so he has something to go off of.

Mr. Thomas I actually got a call last week. The property owner on the far east road, she's been there for a long time and her granddaughter actually fell in one of these holes. No one was hurt, but she brought it up that this is a safety issue and she wants to see if there's anything we can do about it. I told her I would start looking into that and see about getting some quotes and putting a proposal together. The worst part of it from what I've seen is the far east part. There's kind of a bowl where everything drains to. She actually has to put bags out to keep water out of her garage. If all of its barrels, there's quite a few, but at that point I think it would just be taking out the existing and putting in new.

Mr. Thomas stated that was the single quote. So, if we want to do an RFP and multiple quotes, that's just for your information. Commissioner Brand stated the MS4 coordinator. Courtney, do you have an update? Courtney stated as far as MS4 coordinator update, I would say, we are finishing up our annual report numbers, just getting a few of those tidied up for our deadline on April 1st. Especially the illicit discharge detection elimination portion. And then we've also set into motion our department head training, which will be March 31st at 9:00 a.m. I sent out the email for that. As far as far as county construction goes, I have within the last week assessed fines at the Foundry Row project off of Cowan Road for excessive trash that has been blowing off site. After multiple warnings, they still did not have it all picked up. So, I went ahead and issued fines. Hopefully that gets better. The tracking has been better when I've been on site. After today, I'm sure everybody will be tracking. I've also just this week issued or it might have been last week a stop work order at the southwest corner of State Road 3 and State Road 28 for disturbance over an acre. It was close to 2 acres without a permit. I am working with Dean and the planning commission to make sure all of the ordinances and requirements are met through the homeowner. He has hired Ashton's and has gotten a SWIP plan in place, but I'm waiting for the approval from the other departments before I provide a review. Tomorrow I have my contractor workshop. I am currently at about 55 registered attendees, which is the most since I've started.
