Establishment Operations in Oakwood City Health District
The Oakwood City Health District contracts with PHDMC to perform all inspections and administrative support.
At the time of an initial routine inspection, if specific critical violations (e.g. critical violations that were not corrected on site or are repeated from previous inspections, repeated temperature violations, multiple date marking issues, multiple person in charge violations, food contact surface cleaning violations, back flow prevention devices non-functioning, etc.), and non-critical violations (those repeatedly noted from previous inspections, numerous physical facilities cleaning violations, hot and cold holding units needing repaired, etc.) are observed and documented on the inspection form, then orders (specific time limits) for correction may be issued. If time limits are issued, a required re-inspection to determine compliance with the initial orders would be conducted.

Non-Compliance leads to Second Re-inspection.
- Compliance (see the global compliance rule stated below).
- Non-Compliance leads either directly to Pre-Hearing or to Third re-inspection**, which leads to Pre-Hearing.
** Subsequent re-inspections can be scheduled if warranted by the inspector/supervisors before a hearing is scheduled.
If compliance is achieved at any level then further action is not required and the next routine inspection will be conducted per schedule.
