TITLE: Fire Station Project Draw #12
BACKGROUND:
The Union Grove–Yorkville Fire Commission approved of professional services and construction-related invoices for the new fire station project at its May 13, 2026 meeting.
This draw includes:
- April 2026 pay applications from Scherrer Construction and Southport Engineering.
- Construction administration services and construction management labor and fees from Wendel.
Per the cost-sharing agreement between the Villages, Union Grove is responsible for 38.36 percent of project costs, with Yorkville responsible for 61.64 percent.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total amount of this draw is $468,469.58, with Union Grove’s share totaling $179,704.93 and Yorkville’s share totaling $288,764.65
Funds will be drawn from capital account 400-58425-000. The Village is responsible for payment of its share of project costs.
RECOMMENDATION
Motion to approve payment of Union Grove’s share of invoices in the amount of $179,704.93, with the Village to issue direct payment to the vendors.
