• 3.1.4- Carefully detach the bell and the precast concrete finger supports.
  • 3.1.5- Ensure no damage to surrounding structures or grounds.
  • 3.1.6- Repair area of removal with flat concrete with proper foundations.

3.2- Transportation

  • 3.2.1- Provide all equipment, cranes, rigging, trailers, and manpower required to safely transport the bell and supporting elements.
  • 3.2.2- Secure materials to avoid vibration or damage during movement.
  • 3.2.3- Transport the bell and components to the Delaware County Building site across the street.

3.3- Site Preparation (New Location)

  • 3.3.1- Work with County representatives to confirm exact placement location. (Described Below).
  • 3.3.2- Excavate and prepare a foundation area to match the current installation layout.
  • 3.3.3- Construct a new round concrete foundation that replicates the existing foundation in: Size, Shape, Height, Surface appearance
  • 3.3.4- Prepare any required base materials and ensure structural stability for long-term placement.

3.4- Reinstallation and Reconstruction

  • 3.4.1- Reinstall the precast concrete finger supports in the identical configuration and orientation as the existing site.
  • 3.4.2- Install the bell onto the support structure exactly as presently positioned.
  • 3.4.3- Reconstruct all stamped brickwork and architectural elements to match existing materials, color, patterning, and appearance.
  • 3.4.4- Final installation must result in a presentation that is visually identical to the current installation.

3.5- Cleanup and Restoration

  • 3.5.1- Restore disturbed grounds at both the old and new sites.
  • 3.5.2- Remove all equipment, debris, and temporary safety barriers.
  • 3.5.3- Ensure both sites are left clean and in suitable condition.
