Rick Yencer commented that we didn’t discuss creation of jobs and does not understand why the Commission supports housing. The only growth he has seen is at the Park One Second Entrance and believes the government should better control money spending.
Tamra Timm from Isaiah 117 House provided an update to Commission regarding water. She is cautiously optimistic that they will be able to fulfill the timeline in the agreement. They hope to have a certificate of occupancy by next month, continue to train volunteers, and ensure the budget is secure before doors open. They do plan to have a ribbon cutting.
Justin Clauson from L&J Manufacturing provided an update to the Commission. He has made significant progress and about 85% is completed on the building expansion. All that is left is outside concrete work. He is working with local government to get permitting and plans to
