Chairperson Hansen welcomed everyone to the meeting.

Public Works Update
(9:03 a.m.)

Public Works Director Mike Casper gave an update on existing projects and upcoming work. The project in Altamont is almost complete. They will bring in gravel for County Road 29. This project will be done until the Right-Of-Ways are obtained. The parties discussed the Antelope Bridge repairs. Some of the crew will be trimming trees while the weather is mild.

Personal Privilege

Commissioner Miles asked for a moment of personal privilege. He honored Commissioner Hansen for her dedicated service to Duchesne County and UBAOG. UBAOG Director Laurie Brummond and Kevin Yack expressed their appreciation to Commissioner Hansen for all she has done for them and the County. Commissioner Hansen was presented with a plaque from UBAOG.

Discussion & Consideration of Approach Permits
(9:18 a.m.)

Public Works Deputy Director Clint Curtis presented a commercial approach permit for Strata Networks. This permit will allow access for a tower in Fruitland. The parties discussed the request. Commissioner Miles made a motion to approve the commercial approach permit as presented. Commissioner Killian seconded the motion. Commissioner Miles voted aye, Commissioner Killian voted aye, and Commissioner Hansen voted aye. The motion passed.

Discussion & Consideration of a TRT / TRCC Advisory Board

Commissioner Hansen explained the board's purpose and stated that, by state statute, we must have the board. Commissioner Hansen has contacted individuals around the county to serve on this board. Ashly Kuhland will represent restaurants, Hal and/or Terry Giles will represent Destination Resorts, Diana Giles will represent Hotels, Deborah Herron will be an Ex Officio, and Irene Hansen will be the Ex Officio. The parties discussed the board. Commissioner Miles made a motion to appoint the individuals as stated to the TRT / TRCC Advisory Board. Commissioner Killian seconded the motion. Commissioner Miles voted aye, Commissioner Killian voted aye, and Commissioner Hansen voted aye. The motion passed.
