Building & Construction Director Cody Fisher presented Resolution No. 25-01 and explained the proposed building and construction fees for 2025. There is an average of 1.3% increase. He provided an example of what a building permit fee for a 1700-square-foot home with an 800-square-foot garage would cost for 2025 and 2024. Exhibit A is the commercial table. Code changes adopted by the state have increased the fees for commercial buildings.
