AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OAKWOOD, OHIO:
Ordinance No. 5012, adopted December 2, 2024, is hereby repealed.
The maximum annual salary for the Clerk of the City of Oakwood Municipal Court shall be $68,904.99. The top rate of pay for the Bailiff of the Oakwood Municipal Court shall be $710.71 per month. In accordance with O.R.C. 1901.31(C)(3), three-fifths of the annual compensation for these positions shall be paid from the treasury of this City and two-fifths from the treasury of Montgomery County.
The top rate of pay for the Deputy Clerk of Court shall be $60,121.98.
The hourly rate for the part-time Probation Officer shall be $28.14.
The foregoing maximum annual salaries shall be effective with the pay period beginning December 15, 2025.
It is hereby declared that this ordinance is an emergency measure to take effect immediately on the basis that it is necessary to authorize such compensation as quickly as possible for the protection of morale among the court personnel and on the basis of the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare.
