3. Mountain West Ranches — Great Basin Estates Phase 6 — Extension Request

Mike Gottfredson presented the request.

He stated that Mountain West Ranches requested an extension of time to complete the preliminary plat access requirements for Great Basin Estates Phase 6 due to UDOT-related access issues.

Applicant Comments

Trevon Grant spoke on behalf of Mountain West Ranches. He stated that the extension was needed because of UDOT access issues and old recorded documents that need to be corrected.

Commissioners’ Questions

Chairperson Nelson asked whether the issue was related to an approach.

Trevon Grant stated that Mountain West Ranches is working to combine two existing accesses and correct older recorded document issues.

Connie Sweat made a motion to approve a one-year extension for Great Basin Estates Phase 6 for the road access requirement, extending the deadline to September 27, 2026.
