The new facility will include five tennis courts and an adjacent 25-space parking lot as depicted below. The parking lot supplements existing on-street parking in the area and will serve the tennis courts, Gardner Swimming Pool, Shafor Park and the Oakwood Community Center. The plan will include extensive landscaping around the courts and parking lot. This project is being completed in cooperation and partnership with the Oakwood City Schools. As with the current courts, the new facility will be open to the public and will also be the home of the Oakwood Junior and Senior High School Tennis teams.
