Oakwood Schools are pleased to support the renovation of the City of Oakwood Tennis Courts located near the Oakwood Community Center that will be the home to Oakwood boys and girls tennis. We appreciate being involved in the process, with suggestions from our tennis coaches being incorporated in the final design. Our coaches and the OHSAA, which regulates high school sports in Ohio, have reviewed the design and find no safety or size issues with the courts.
This cooperation and partnership between the District and the City fulfills a need for the Oakwood Schools and will, in the long run, save the schools money. Oakwood Schools has an outstanding working relationship with the City of Oakwood when providing venues to help fulfill the curricular, recreational and athletic needs of our students. We look forward to continuing this partnership in the future.
