Mr. Smith asked if the old ambulances were part of the businesses branding.

Mr. Brand asked if he used them for his business and if they were all licensed, titled, insured and in running condition.

Mr. LaChat asked if he purchased the property in May 2025.

Mr. Uitermarkt stated that sounded correct.

Mr. Brand stated that he would like to hear from anyone in opposition to see if these statements had changed their opinion.

Tim Laws stated that he and his wife Charlotte had watched one of the ambulances be brought in by a wrecker a few days ago. He stated that it was old and he was sure that it was not running.

Mr. Brand stated that the purpose of this Board was to determine the best and most appropriate use of the property and asked them to all keep that in mind.

Mr. LaChat made a motion for a favorable recommendation for MPC 05-26Z requesting a change in zoning from the F Farming Zone to the BV Variety Business Zone. Mr. Brand seconded the motion. Voting in favor: Mr. LaChat, Ms. Sipe, and Mr. Smith. Voting against: Mr. Brand, Mr. Carroll, and Mr. Dishman. No official action (3-3)

Ms. Swackhamer stated that since there was no official action, this matter would be automatically continued to the next regular meeting Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
