Open Card Sort Results Report
Social Enterprise Information Architecture
This report presents the findings of our open card sorting study aimed to understand user perception and expectations for the website content of SocialOutfit.org. Our objective was to gather insights on how users categorized menu items to compare the initial website navigation and structure with user findings. This study included 23 participants that were representative of a wide target market who would shop on a social enterprise website. Participants were tasked with organizing 54 labels into categories that reflected their mental models for the website. We collected qualitative and quantitative data to identify user preferences and gather additional insight into how participants grouped labels. We conclude this report with future recommendations to improve this website’s navigation and content organization based on the results of our study.
