CLIENT SERVICES & COMPENSATION REQUIREMENTS
Delaware County Insurance Brokerage Services
This Client Services Agreement (“Agreement”) will be executed between Delaware County Board of Commissioners (“County”) and the selected insurance broker (“Broker”) following completion of the Request for Proposals (RFP) process.
The provisions below establish the minimum services expectations and compensation disclosures required of the selected Broker.
1. Lines of Insurance Coverage
The Broker shall serve as Broker of Record for Delaware County for the following lines of insurance coverage, unless otherwise determined by the County:
- Property Insurance
- Commercial Automobile
- General Liability
- Law Enforcement Liability
- Public Officials Liability/ Errors & Omissions
- Umbrella/ Excess Liability
- Workers’ Compensation
- Cyber Liability
- Crime/ Fidelity
- Any additional insurance coverage placed on behalf of the County
2. Required Brokerage Services
The Broker shall provide professional insurance brokerage and risk management services including, but not limited to, the following:
Risk Management Services
- Conduct meetings with County representatives to understand risk management objectives.
- Perform risk identification and exposure analysis
- Assist in the design and implementation of the County’s insurance and risk management program
- Evaluate the County’s current insurance program and recommend enhancements where appropriate
- Develop insurance marketing strategies for renewal cycles and competitive bid processes.
- Provide recommendations for risk mitigation and loss prevention
