the mobile home temporarily as they were building their home but they were ready to move out and have their own space.
Ms. Mathewson asked what would happen to the mobile home after the home was built.
Ms. Newsome stated that they had signed a contract that they had to build a house, and that once that was finished, they would most likely sell the mobile home to her brother-in-law to use while he builds his home.
Mr. Hinds asked for an explanation regarding the utilities.
Ms. Newsome stated that they were seeking a land loan so that her husband who was a plumber could install their septic, but that they could not complete the loan without an official address for the property.
Ms. Fritch asked about the timeline for having the house completed.
Ms. Newsome stated that they were not completely sure but that it should not take more than 1-2 years.
Charlie Richman, appeared. He stated that he and his wife lived 2 doors down form them, and had known Mr. Newsome since he was a teenager and that they were comfortable and enthusiastic about having his family in the neighborhood. He stated that he had no issue with the temporary mobile home and had faith that it would be moved after their house was built and that he was in full support.
Commissioner Brand and stated that the hoped the board would approve the request to help this young family achieve their dreams.
No one appeared in opposition.
Ms. Swackhamer stated that they were working with Mr. Fouch on permits and that they would continue to do so during the process.
Ms. Fritch made a motion to approve BZA 19-26 the appeal filed by Shelby Newsome with the hardship as stated in the application with the following conditions; 1) That the variance is for the applicant only; and 2) That the temporary dwelling shall be removed after the new dwelling is constructed or when not being lived in by the applicant. Ms. Knapp seconded the motion. Voting in favor: Mr. Billington, Ms. Fritch, Mr. Hamilton, Mr. Hinds, Mr. Ivy, Ms. Knapp, and Ms. Mathewson. Voting against: None.
