Mr. Hinds asked what the size of the coop was.

Mr. Martinez stated it was approximately 25’ x 25’ in size.

Ms. Swackhamer stated that on the application they had asked for 4 hens/roosters and that the board could not grant approval for more than what was asked for. She stated that any more than 4 would require a new application.

Mr. Munoz asked Ms. Martinez what she would like to do and she stated that she would like to reapply.

Mr. Wiseley stated that the board could only approve 4 chickens or that the applicant could withdraw her request and file a new application.

Mr. Munoz explained the options to Ms. Martinez and she asked to withdraw the request so that she could reapply.

Mr. Hamilton asked about the area where the chickens were kept.

Mr. Munoz stated that it was a fenced in area with a roof.

Mr. Hamilton clarified that it was not a building.

Mr. Munoz stated no it was not.

Ms. Mathewson stated that the record would show that the applicant withdrew her request and that there would be no further action required from the board.

Ms. Swackhamer stated that they would need to come to the office to file a new application.

Mr. Munoz asked if they were ok to keep the chickens for now while they worked on the new application.

Ms. Swackhamer stated yes, and that they were working with the County Building Commissioner on the matter until a decision was made.
