Eva and Todd Marsh, 17121 N. Willman Rd., Eaton, Indiana, appeared. She stated that they would like to build a new garage for personal storage and to work on their personal vehicles.

Mr. Hamilton asked how many acres they had.

Mr. Marsh stated that they had 11 acres.

Ms. Mathewson stated that the board had drawings of the building.

Commissioner Brand encouraged the board to approve the request to allow the Marsh’s to add value to their property and keep their belongings inside.

No one appeared in opposition.

Ms. Fritch made a motion to approve BZA 20-26 the appeal filed by Todd and Eva Marsh with the hardship as stated in the application with the condition that the barn be used for personal storage only. Mr. Hinds seconded the motion. Voting in favor: Mr. Billington, Ms. Fritch, Mr. Hamilton, Mr. Hinds, Mr. Ivy, Ms. Knapp, and Ms. Mathewson. Voting against: None. Motion carried (7-0), BZA 20-26 approved.

REPORT FROM DIRECTOR:

Ms. Swackhamer reported the year to date numbers for permits, inspections, complaints, variances, rezonings., and plats. She stated that INDOT was holding a public meeting at Eaton Elementary to discuss a proposed roundabout at State Road 3 and Eaton-Wheeling Pike.
