Well, good.
We did get another year's warranty, normally, than what they do give. They usually only give a year.
We got two years.
Well, that's something.
I tried to push him for three.
You know, I'll tell you, I remember right after I came on the commission, we did that one pilot project on a different type of possible road situation. The pilot project itself didn't go that well.
I think the thing that was very impressive to me was when they brought in their crew and they worked side by side with our road department. I had one of the guys pull me aside, and again, I was so new, so I was in awe of it all. But he told me, he said, I've worked across the entire country. I worked with road crews in big cities, small towns, little counties. But some of the.
What I would consider the, you know, some of the largest budget companies and counties that I've been to. And he said, I have never seen better trained and more, with more expertise and the best work ethic than your road department. And that impressed me because I think sometimes you just take certain things for granted. You just assume, well, yeah, of course they're great. They're doing their job.
But I think for him, you know, and he used that caveat that, you know, I've been all over the country, and I've never met people with. With a better work ethic and that knows what they're doing, that it's almost like he said, watching them is like watching a ballet. They know exactly what they're doing. They know how to do it. And it's just, it looks effortless.
It isn't. It takes a lot of effort. But, you know, I think kudos to you that we do have the expertise now within the road department to get some of these things done and make life better for our county residents.
Yeah.
And it's a good investment.
Oh, yeah.
With that, is there. Do we want to make a decision today? Do we want to.
Yeah.
If you would entertain a motion, I make a motion that we approve the purchase of 2024 generation eight reclaimer stabilizer with the added attachments for $361,590.
