Although I know this will obviously be a part of public record, but I'm just going to read a couple of these paragraphs because I think it's important for just the general public to know why these are so important. It says, this permit allows the filing entity or person to conduct the necessary improvements to their approach. For residential and commercial properties that will be approaching on Duchenne county ride of ways, approaches will be constructed on a 90 degree angle to the roadway. Approaches that shall have sufficient visual clearance on both sides so the traveling lanes of traffic can clearly have visual contact. Permitting shall furnish all needed materials for proper drainage, including culverts, and it gives a minimum size for commercial approaches.
All approaches must be constructed with a minimum of three four inch road based gravel material or asphalt. The road department reserves the right to determine that only an asphalt approach shall be constructed if safety issues are present. So anyway, I just think that this is a good process and it's good for you guys to know what's going on. And it's nice because we have learned best practices in order to make sure that these are done with the highest integrity and the amount of safety that's needed.
We've got two culverts in there, is that right? Those two red things are.
That's a fridge.
Fridge. Okay.
I'm not as familiar with 8000 list.
Yeah, that's just a small bridge. So I got a question, Clint. This nothing related with this, but as we're redoing some of these is these permit piece, do we need to raise them a little bit there? Are they covering your paperwork?
Covering everything. Well, the residential aren't. That can tell case by case scenario. Well, do we need to start considering erasing them?
Yes.
Okay. That's all I want to know. So it's in the back of my mind about. Because I know, like with the planning and zoning and some of this stuff that they're talking. So it's not even covering what it's costing in time and that down there.
So I think we ought to at least cover some of our costs that's incurred on this stuff. It's permits.
So.
I think we do need a motion. Do I need to sign one of these or can I get signed?
So do you want me to sign it down here?
