And happy Eclipse day. We are so happy to be here today for the combined working and

regular meeting of the board of Duchenne County Commission. It is Monday, April 8, 2024. It is 09:00 a.m. We are in the Duchenne County Administration building here in Duchenne City at 734 North Center street.

We do have a few that are joining us in the gallery today, and we're pleased to have them here. We also have a full commission, Tyler Allred from the attorney's office, and Melissa Hughes, the commission assistant, who will be taking our minutes today. If everyone would join us in the pledge of allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Well, it would not be Monday morning without our public work update with Mike Casper. And

Public Works

so, Mike and Clint please come up, and we welcome our road department director and his deputy. And we're just so happy to have you this morning. I hope you didn't have to plow any snow over the weekend.

No, not that I know I've been gone, but nothing I heard of.

Well, I didn't hear of anything either. I think we had some flurries here and there, but I think most of it came in rain.

Yeah. So that's good thing. Good talking about wind, I come through Kansas and Nebraska.

There were, like, seven Semites just laid.

Over one camp trailer, one carnival.

Yeah. No, I didn't see them. Thank you for that.

All right, well, we'll get started here.

So last week, we had plenty of these trucks working on lambs, doing some shoulder work, doing chipping. They probably got. We keep trucks out of them in the rest this week, so that's going good. Our graders are all out working. Been pretty good grading.
