The Quality of Life and Satisfaction with City Services

Oakwood residents are very happy with the quality of life in the city. More than three in four (77 percent) of the people interviewed rate the city’s quality of life “excellent.”

This “excellent” quality of life is reflected in residents’ opinions of nine city services. Respondents were asked to rate the services on a scale of “excellent, good, fair, poor or very poor.” For ease of comparison, those ratings were converted to a numeric scale in which five equals “excellent” and one, “very poor.”
