- Far Hills Avenue
Our 2024 Sidewalk, Curb and Driveway Apron Project was completed in the Far Hills Avenue Business District. The purpose of the program is to maintain the concrete structures located within the city rights-of-way in good, safe condition.
The city has a 5-year capital improvement program that lists projects for consideration in upcoming years. These projects are included for general planning purposes only. In many cases, the actual project budgeting and construction planning are adjusted due to financial constraints and other priorities.

Harman Boulevard 400-Block Median Project
We completed the Harman Boulevard 400-Block Median Project to improve safety by naturally slowing down traffic. This addition also brings consistency with the existing medians on the 200- and 300-blocks. The trees planted in the median enhance the neighborhood’s aesthetic appeal and reflect Oakwood’s commitment to beautification and our 42nd consecutive Tree City, USA designation.
