Ms. Mathewson asked with 65 cases last year, are the staff looking at reoccurring requests to see if they need addressed during the ordinance revisions. She stated that the one thing she could think of quickly was the height of accessory structures to accommodate campers.

Ms. Swackhamer stated yes. She stated that staff had many notes and that the firm that would be doing the work would also be looking at a lot of information She stated that there had been 10 cases in the past 2 years that had requested an increased height or more square footage than the dwelling, so that was something that would be addressed.

Mr. Billington stated that people seemed to be building houses smaller and the outbuildings larger.

Ms. Swackhamer stated yes, and that some of those requests were the ones that were seen over and over again and were usually approved so a change would save the property owners from the variance process.
