4. A copy of this resolution shall be published in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq., and a copy shall be transmitted to ACCSES NJ, the Borough Chief Financial Officer, and the Borough Purchasing Agent.

Amending Resolution 25-0804-227 Authorizing Council President Roger Vroom to Execute Documents and awarding a Contract to Association for Choices in Community Supports and Employment “Accses” NJ for Janitorial Services through New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Program Removing Police Headquarters 24 South Bridge Street

Whereas, ACCSES NJ is the State’s New Jersey designated Central Non-Profit Agency, administering the State set-aside contract for people with disabilities under the New Jersey Law for Rehabilitation Services; and

Whereas, in accordance with the state contract for Janitorial Services T-1480 7710, Line 145 the Borough of Somerville seeks to award a contract for Janitorial Services as follows:

  • Borough Hall $13,694.35
  • Fire Museum $626.07
  • Library $27,838.09
  • Somerville Civic Center $6,223.52

For an annual amount of $70,562.10; and

Whereas, the Borough of Somervile received proposal dated July 21, 2025 indicating pricing and weekly services dates.

Be it resolved, by the Borough Council of the Borough of Somerville, in the County of Somerset, State of New Jersey authorizes a contract to ACCSES, 150 West State Street, Suite 120, Trenton, New Jersey 08608 in the amount of $70,562.10 for janitorial maintenance.

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that Borough Council of the Borough of Somerville, County of Somerset, State of New Jersey, formally approve the grant application for the New Jersey Department of Transportation 2027 State Aid Grant Program for MA-2027-2027 Road Improvement Program including North Doughty Avenue and Prospect Street.
