Be It Further Resolved, that the Mayor and Municipal Clerk are hereby authorized to submit an electronic grant application “identified as MA-2027-2027 Road Improvement Program including “North Doughty Avenue and Prospect Street” to the New Jersey Department of Transportation on behalf of the Borough of Somerville.
Be It Further Resolved, that Mayor and Municipal Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the grant agreement on behalf of the Borough of Somerville and that their signature constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions of the grant agreement and approves the execution of the grant agreement.
Whereas, the Borough of Somerville and the Borough of Raritan, recognize the need to enter into a contract with First Due Software; and
Whereas, the software provides fire reporting software, inventory management, personnel record management, apparatus management, fire inspection (pre-planning, billing, and invoicing), emergency call notifications, and CAD (computer aided dispatch) features; and
Whereas, the Borough of Somerville has agreed to host this contract for the Borough of Raritan; and
Whereas, the total cost of the contract for 2026 is $17,765.00 split at $8,882.50 for both Boroughs; and
Whereas, Raritan Borough agrees to pay the Borough of Somerville $8,882.50; and
Whereas, the Borough of Somerville will pay the total cost of the contract on behalf of the Borough of Somerville and the Raritan Borough and in the amount of $17,765.00.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Somerville, County of Somerset, State of New Jersey, that:
- 1. The Borough of Somerville enter into an agreement with the Borough of Raritan to Host the First Due Software Service.
- 2. The Borough of Somerville executes the contract with First Due Software for the contract year 2026.
