Henry grew up playing cards and rubber bridge, later discovering duplicate bridge and quickly becoming hooked by both the game and its community. He earned his Life Master and director’s certificate in 2016 and now enjoys sharing his passion for bridge. With a background in software and teaching middle and high school math, Henry brings a clear, engaging approach to instruction.

Fitness instructor
Dot Spaet is an award-winning trainer with extensive certifications across fitness, yoga, Pilates, and functional training. With an engineering background, she specializes in helping people relieve back, neck, hip, knee, and shoulder pain, and has a proven record of success—including healing her own back pain. Loren, Al
Fitness instructor
Al Loren is well known in Marin County for his expertise working with seniors. His 32 years of experience includes over 20,000 classes taught in 30 different retirement residences, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. He has established a reputation of professionalism knowledge of movement balance enhancement.
Tarzi-Saccardi, Nadia
Ceramics instructor
Award winning artist, Nadia Tarzi-Saccardi, is the director for the Terra Linda Ceramic Artists program since 2017. Nadia first studied ceramics and sculpture forty years ago in Strasbourg, France and for the last 15 years has been teaching ceramics to adults & children across the Bay Area. She was awarded the Best of Marin 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 for Best Art Instructor and Best Art Studio.
Mayock, Tom
Youth program instructor
While performing with Nevada Dance Theater, D.C. Contemporary Dance, and a series of jazz companies Tom Mayock developed and taught elementary, middle school and high school dance programs. Mr. Tom then studied early childhood education and developed and now teaches a signature K-5th grade dance program at 6 schools between Marin and SF. As a resident teaching artist collaborating with teachers and elementary schools, Mr. Tom shares a lifetime of his profession with 1000’s of children annually.
Zamichow, Beth
Fitness instructor
Beth Zamichow is a certified movement therapist, certified Pilates instructor and specializes in senior body/brain fitness. Her passion is in helping and inspiring people to become more aware of their bodies, improve their postures and increase strength, balance and flexibility.
Navarro, Rosario
Language instructor
Rosario has been teaching Spanish to young students and adults for more than 30 years in California. Her enthusiastic approach to teaching her native language has served so many students and adults in our community.
Nelson, Tim
Fencing instructor
Tim began fencing at the Salle Saint-Georges in Seattle, WA in 2008. He has trained in Classical French School, Classical Italian School, and has studied various Renaissance and Medieval systems since 2008. He was certified as an Instructor of French Foil in 2015.
Norys-Toomey, Elizabeth
Yoga instructor
Owner of Embrace Yoga of Marin in San Rafael & Yoga instructor teaching classes including Hatha, Chair Yoga and Yin/Restorative yoga. She integrates balance and flow. Beth loves to embrace Yoga as therapy for the mind and body, integrating mindfulness into her practice and teachings, while offering Yoga as a tool to help balance life’s daily changes.
Reemsnyder, Laurie
Dance instructor
Laurie been teaching line dancing at the Mill Valley Community Center, Strawberry and Sausalito Recreation Centers beginning in Jan. of 2020. She also done birthday parties, pop up performances in parades and at holiday events, mostly with Sausalito Village.
