Other Planning Initiatives
Purpose:
Program 800 includes non-transportation planning activities conducted by the DMMPC. These activities are not eligible for transportation planning funds but remain essential components of the overall local planning process.
Program 800.1: Zoning & Subdivisions
- Review and processing of zoning change applications, zoning appeals, variances, and subdivision plats.
- Preparation of reports, visual aids, and presentation materials for zoning and subdivision cases.
- Provision of information on zoning, subdivisions, and floodplains.
- Preparation and production of informational booklets for areas of Delaware County and updates to zoning maps.
- Preparation and processing of amendments to zoning and subdivision ordinances, including production of updated ordinance documents.
Program 800.2: Address System
- Review of address and street-name information and preparation of updates needed to maintain compliance with the Delaware County Uniform House Numbering System (DCUHNS).
- Issuance of addresses for new and existing structures in accordance with the DCUHNS, including preparation of related correspondence.
- Processing and maintenance of address and street-name information in paper and digital formats.
- Updating of address and street-name maps.
- Preparation and processing of street-name ordinances and other ordinances required to implement the DCUHNS.
