Program 600: Other Planning Initiatives
Purpose:
Enhance technical planning capabilities to guide transportation network upgrades for short- and long-range needs. Activities include corridor studies, land use coordination, and ADA transition planning. All studies will follow federal guidelines for purpose and need and streamline NEPA requirements where applicable.
Method:
Develop and maintain analytical databases to support evaluation of the transportation network and ensure a safe, efficient, and sustainable system. Analyze system characteristics, identify needs, and prepare reports that guide decision-making for system management and future investments.
