Planning Priorities (FY 2027)
The DMMPC established planning priorities to focus transportation planning efforts, guide resource allocation, and ensure alignment with federal planning factors. These priorities emphasize safety, system preservation, multimodal connectivity, economic vitality, and environmental stewardship. By concentrating on these key areas, the MPO supports the efficient and reliable movement of people and freight, enhances quality of life, and integrates transportation investments with regional growth and land use goals. Summarized below are the MPO’s primary priorities for each UPWP program, linking them to strategic objectives and federal requirements.
