Summary of Work Program Changes (FY 2027)
The following adjustments have been made for FY 2027:
Program 100 - Administration/Public Participation

Decreased dollar amount from $175,000 to $110,000
An additional $22,500 in carryover funds are being programmed into this element.

STBG funds increased from $0 to $95,000
The MPO requests an increase of $95,000 in STBG funds to support anticipated administrative and operational needs necessary to carry out Program 100 activities. These funds will support expenditures such as co-hosting the MPO conference to enhance coordination and stakeholder engagement; the purchase and upgrade of computer and technical equipment to maintain secure and efficient operations; and ongoing administrative services, including a Zoom subscription for virtual meetings and notary services for official documentation. The increase also accounts for staff participation in professional development and coordination activities, including conference registration, travel, lodging, and meals for Indiana MPO, and APA. This adjustment ensures the MPO can maintain effective administration, support and required planning functions, and remain compliant with federal and state requirements.
Program 200 - Data Collection/Analysis

An additional $4,500 in carryover funds are being programmed into this element.

STBG funds increased from $0 to $30,000
The MPO requests the addition of $30,000 in STBG funds to support Program 200 activities related to data collection and system monitoring. Maintenance of demographic and other data, including census data, building permits, and land use for the transportation planning program. This investment will enhance the MPO’s ability to collect, manage, and analyze data, supporting informed decision-making, performance monitoring, and compliance with federal planning requirements.
