Speaker-AIs there anybody available to be part-time in our area?

Speaker-CWe don't know until we try.

Speaker-ASo, so, you know, Uintah County had a, uh, part-timer. They're currently hiring a full-time employee there. Um, so I think you might be able to find somebody part-time.

Speaker-CI don't know. I don't know. Uintah County offered us one day a week from their that they're going down there. But one day a week, and it would be $20,000 a year for that. And I don't know, I think we just- the advisory board didn't feel like that was something we wanted to do.

We would have to come up with mileage to get Mulvern back. There was just a lot of different reasons that we had discussion of. Commissioner Chuck was there when we had our discussions. So anyway, I, I am really working towards this. It is best practice.

And if I can answer any questions, and I have someone at the state level that could answer questions as well. There is a possibility, possibility that we could get some one-time funding to get it started, but I don't want to do that unless we can keep it going. So anyway, I'm giving you the information. I want you to ask me questions or somebody else.

Speaker-AAnd then I'll come back.

So what are you doing right now?

Speaker-CSo right now, law enforcement and DCFS, CPS, they do the interviews, and that would continue for when this person wasn't there because it would be a part-time thing. They do their interviews, and they sometimes, if they're, I mean, they do good. I mean, it's just we do have those few that that aren't as good. It would just be better to have this, this person.

But right now we just, they do their own interviews.

Speaker-ASo it's being, I mean, the cost is being borne by other agencies, including the Sheriff's Office?

Speaker-CYeah, I'll tell you, the Sheriff's Office is doing a lot of interviews and they're doing a lot of courtesy interviews for other agencies because they're not as well. So it is a- it is mostly the Sheriff's Office.
